1. Website Use
This website presents EL KAISSI, its products, services, and business information.
Users may browse the website, contact EL KAISSI, request an account, subscribe to updates where such subscription is available, or, where account access is provided, submit order requests.
Users may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use website content without permission.
2. Customer Accounts
Customer accounts are created and managed by ELÂ KAISSI.
Business customers who wish to access account features may submit an account request through the website. Account access is provided for business, ordering, or account-management purposes.
Users are responsible for keeping their account access information confidential and for making sure that information submitted through their account is accurate and up to date.
Customers are responsible for activity carried out through their account by persons authorized to use that account, including order requests submitted on their behalf.
ELÂ KAISSI may suspend, restrict, or remove account access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, inactivity, account administration, or business reasons.
3. Order Requests and Confirmation
Logged-in customers may submit order requests through the website. Submission of an order request does not constitute a confirmed sale or oblige ELÂ KAISSI to accept or fulfill the request.
After receiving an order request, ELÂ KAISSI may contact the customer to review and confirm relevant details. These may include product availability, quantities, customization requirements, production timing, delivery or collection arrangements, pricing, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
An order is considered confirmed only after the relevant commercial and operational details have been agreed between ELÂ KAISSI and the customer.
4. Product Information
EL KAISSI aims to keep product information accurate and reasonably up to date.
Product images are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible. Minor differences in color or appearance may result from photography, lighting, screen settings, or the natural visual characteristics of certain ingredients.
Certain products may also be available or produced in alternative formulations, including titanium dioxide E171-free or natural-color formulations. These formulations may result in visible differences in color, opacity, brightness, or finish compared with product images produced with standard formulations.
Packaging, labeling, or presentation may be updated from time to time without materially changing the product.
Some products may be seasonal, made to order, customized, limited in availability, or subject to minimum order quantities or production conditions.
Product information, specifications, availability and presentation may be updated, modified, or removed without prior notice.
5. Pricing and Payment
Product prices are displayed to customers with an active account.
Displayed prices form part of the order-request process and do not by themselves constitute a final quotation, confirmed order, or binding sale.
Final pricing and other commercial conditions may depend on quantities, product configuration, customization, availability, delivery destination, payment terms, currency, applicable taxes, and other requirements. These details are reviewed and confirmed with the customer as part of the order confirmation process.
Any applicable VAT or other taxes, delivery charges, duties, or additional charges will be communicated or confirmed where relevant unless expressly stated as included.
The website does not process online payments. Payment methods and payment terms are agreed directly with the customer.
6. Delivery and Collection
Delivery, collection, destination, timing, charges, and related arrangements are agreed as part of the order review and confirmation process.
Any delivery or production timing communicated before final confirmation is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Delivery or collection timing may be affected by customer availability, incomplete or delayed information, changes requested by the customer, transport conditions, supply conditions, or circumstances outside EL KAISSI’s reasonable control.
7. Custom Products and Artwork
For customized products, private-label work, printed materials, packaging, artwork, or related projects, customers are responsible for providing accurate files, logos, names, text, colors, quantities, instructions, specifications, and approvals.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary ownership, licenses, permissions, or other rights to use any trademarks, logos, artwork, photographs, text, designs, or other materials supplied to EL KAISSI.
ELÂ KAISSI may refuse or request changes to submitted materials that are unclear, technically unsuitable, offensive, unlawful, or reasonably believed to infringe third-party rights.
Customer approval of artwork, specifications, proofs, or instructions authorizes ELÂ KAISSI to proceed with production accordingly.
8. Product Claims and Non-Conformity
Customers should inspect products upon delivery and report to EL KAISSI, at the time of delivery or within 48 hours, any visible defect, damage, incorrect item, quantity discrepancy, or other issue that could reasonably be identified at delivery.
Where products are found at delivery to be defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise not in conformity with the confirmed order, EL KAISSI may, depending on the circumstances and in agreement with the customer, provide a refund, exchange, or credit to the customer’s account.
Where a manufacturing non-conformity becomes apparent after the products have been received and inspected, the customer may submit a claim for exchange, provided that the products have been stored and handled in accordance with EL KAISSI’s recommendations.
Claims concerning defects or damage identified after delivery may be examined and investigated by EL KAISSI to determine the cause of the issue and, in particular, whether the condition of the products may have resulted from improper storage, handling, transport, environmental conditions, or other circumstances occurring after delivery.
Where products were not inspected at the time of delivery, EL KAISSI may require additional examination or investigation before accepting a claim relating to damage or defects that could have occurred after delivery.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Exchange of Non-Defective Products
Products that were correctly supplied and are not defective or damaged are not refundable. Such products may, however, be accepted for exchange or account credit, subject to all of the following conditions:- request is made no later than 60 days after delivery;
- products have at least six months remaining before their expiry date at the time EL KAISSI collects or accepts the returned products;
- products remain in their original packaging and carry their original labels;
- products have been properly stored and handled, and remain in a condition suitable for resale;
- products are not seasonal, made-to-order, custom-made, private-label, or otherwise produced specifically for the customer.
Where an eligible return is accepted, the customer may either exchange the returned products for other EL KAISSI products or receive a credit to the customer’s account, in each case based on the original invoiced value of the accepted returned products. Account credit is not redeemable for cash.
No exchange or account credit is issued until the returned products have been collected or received and accepted by EL KAISSI following inspection.
10. Intellectual Property
The EL KAISSI name, logo, trademarks, product visuals, photographs, text, graphics, design elements, layout, and website content belong to EL KAISSI or are used with permission.
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, commercially exploit, or otherwise use protected website content without prior written authorization from EL KAISSI, except where permitted by applicable law.
11. Website Availability
EL KAISSI aims to keep the website available and functioning correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The website, customer-account functions, product information, order-request features, or other services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues, security measures, updates, or circumstances outside EL KAISSI’s control.
EL KAISSI may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary.
12. Force Majeure
EL KAISSI is not responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where that delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include transport disruption, shortages of materials or energy, supplier disruption, customs or governmental action, labor disruption, natural events, fire, conflict, telecommunications or internet failures, infrastructure failures, or other comparable events.
Where such circumstances affect an order, EL KAISSI will seek to communicate with the customer and determine appropriate next steps.
13. Privacy
Personal information submitted through or collected by the website is handled according to the Privacy & Cookie Policy.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic, subject to any mandatory legal provisions that may apply otherwise.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, disputes arising in connection with these Terms, use of the website, or transactions with EL KAISSI are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lebanon.
15. Changes to These Terms
EL KAISSI may update these Terms and Conditions where reasonably required to reflect changes in the website, services, commercial practices, tools, legal requirements, or business operations.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
